It is one of the largest and well-preserved sites of Roman architecture outside of Italy, with the grandeur of the colonnaded street, Oval Plaza, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis.
Afterward, we will drive towards the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, famous for its rich minerals that have medicinal properties. Acting as a health spa, the mineral concentration in the mud is used for therapeutic and beauty treatments. In fact, Queen Cleopatra and Sheba both were said to have known the value of the site and used it. Due to too high salinity, the water doesn’t bear any form of life, and hence the name. Put on some mud, relax in the salty water, and float on your back. Just don’t dunk your head! Finally, we will head back to Amman to spend the night.
On day 3, after having breakfast, we will start our 2.5-hour drive to visit the spectacular city of Petra, Jordan’s memorable attraction. We will continue the 700-meter walk to the Siq entrance, the narrow canyon with picturesque colors, leading you to the wonderful city of Petra.
As you exit the chasm, you’re instantly stunned by the beauty of Petra, chosen as one of the New World Wonders. Truly, the place speaks for itself! After the journey, we will make our way back through the Siq before and return to Amman to spend the night.
On the last day, after having breakfast, you will be transferred to Amman Airport to catch your flight, according to the scheduled transfer.
