In the morning, we will start our two-hour drive from Amman to Gadara (Umm Qais), which belonged to the famous Decapolis, the league of 10 ancient Greek cities, founded by Alexander the Great. You will enjoy the overwhelming view over the north Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights, and the Sea of Galilee. Then, we will stroll through the Greco-Roman remains. Afterwards, we will leave to the historical city of Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis. Our next stop will be Ajloun Castle, the 12th-century Islamic castle built by the famous leader Salah al-Din. Finally, you will return back to your hotel or residence in Amman.
